Ben Zuta - Ben Zuta
Ben Zuta, whose full name was Abu-l-Surri ben Zuta, probably lived in Egypt
some time in the tenth century (900 CE). He is known for his disputations
with Saadiah Gaon. His work is known from references in the Rabbanite scholar
Avraham Ibn Ezra. Little else is known of this Karaite Hakham. |
