What is Yom Teru`ah? Yom Teru`ah, also called the Day of Shouting, and is a day dedicated to celebrating God. It is a very important day for praising God, thanking God, and appreciating God. Ten days after Yom Teru`ah is Yom Kippurim, and the ten days in between are days of resolution. |
What do you do for Yom Teru`ah? "Teru`ah" means to make a loud noise. On Yom Teru`ah we are to make loud noise in prayer and celebration to God. The most common methods for giving loud praise are singing, shouting in prayer, playing trumpets, horns, or other instruments. |
