History, the text of our past, provides us with our context today.

History, the text of our past, provides us with our context today.  Understanding it is the key to understand ourselves.  A community that looses its history looses its contiguity, its identity.  The famous philosopher Machiavelli took time out of each day to don regal garments and enter the presence of the ancients.  So, too, we should take time to explore those paths that have led us to where we are, and in so doing drink deeply from the richness of our past.  In this spirit, we invite you to explore the history of Karaism.
